Add Team Defaults (Facility, Time, Transportation) in LeagueMinder

Team Defaults allow you to configure standard Event Settings for each Team based on Season, Gender, and Level. When Defaults are configured, these values will automatically populate when Games or Events are created, imported, or scheduled using the Master Schedule Builder in LeagueMinder.

Setting Team Defaults helps streamline scheduling and ensures consistent Event Details across your organization.

 

Access Team Defaults

  1. Log in to your LeagueMinder Account.

  2. From the left-hand navigation menu, click Resources.

  3. Under Resources, select Teams.

  4. A list of all Teams currently configured in your organization will appear.

Recommendation: It is best to configure all Teams before setting Team Defaults to ensure each team has the correct scheduling configuration.

 

Add or Edit Team Defaults

  1. Locate the Team you want to configure.

  2. Click the Dropdown Arrow to the left of the Sport Name.

  3. Any existing Team Defaults will appear.

  4. Click the Actions Icon on the right side to add or edit Defaults.

  5. A Modal Window will appear where you can configure the following Default Settings:

    • Start Time

    • Facility

    • Neutral Facility (for games played at a third-party location)

    • Dismissal Time

    • Transportation Company

    • Departure Time

    • Departure Location

    • Return Time

  1. After entering or updating the information, click the Save Button to apply your Team Defaults.

 

Configure Home vs Away Defaults

Within the Modal Window, Defaults are organized separately for:

  • Home Games

  • Away Games

This allows you to configure different Facilities, Transportation, and Scheduling Settings depending on where the Event takes place.

 

When Team Defaults Are Used

Configured Team Defaults will automatically populate when:

  • Creating new Events manually

  • Importing Games into LeagueMinder

  • Using the Master Schedule Builder

Using Team Defaults reduces manual data entry and ensures consistent Scheduling Information across all Events.
