Student participation records help track which sports, levels, genders, and seasons a student has participated in. These records can affect rosters, awards, stat entry, and other areas throughout LeagueMinder.

You can manage student participation records manually, import them by CSV, or sync student information from FormReleaf.

Manage a Student Participation Record Manually

1. Log in to LeagueMinder.
2. From the left navigation menu, go to Resources.
3. Select Students.
4. Search or filter for the student you want to update.
5. Locate the Team History column for that student.
6. Add or update the student’s:
   • Gender
   • Level
   • Sport
   • Season or seasons of participation
7. Save your changes.

A student’s Team History can be used throughout LeagueMinder for functions such as roster management, awards, historical participation, and determining which students are available for team statistics and stat entry.

Import Students or Participation Records by CSV

Student and roster information can also be added or updated in bulk using CSV import templates.

To import students:

1. Go to Resources > Students.
2. Select the student import option.
3. Download the Student Import Template.
4. Complete the template with the student information you want to add or update.
5. Upload the completed CSV and follow the prompts to finish the import.

To import roster information:

1. Open the appropriate team or roster screen.
2. Select Import Roster.
3. Download the roster import template.
4. Add or update the appropriate student and roster information.
5. Upload the completed CSV and follow the prompts to complete the import.

CSV imports are useful when adding or updating larger groups of students rather than editing participation records individually. By rostering an student this will update their participation records.

Import Students From FormReleaf

If your organization uses FormReleaf, student and program information can also be imported directly into LeagueMinder.

1. Log in to LeagueMinder.
2. Go to any Team page by selecting a sport, you can use Pick a Team to select the appropriate gender, level, and sport.
3. Click the FormReleaf icon/button.
4. Authenticate your organization’s connection with FormReleaf if you have not already done so.
5. Select the FormReleaf program you want to import.
6. Follow the remaining prompts to review and complete the synchronization.

Once connected, FormReleaf can be used to bring student participation information into the appropriate LeagueMinder team and reduce the need for duplicate data entry.  By rostering an student this will update their participation records.
