Restrict Teams from Scheduling (Chairperson)

The Restrict Teams feature allows League Administrators or Chairpersons to temporarily prevent Schools from adding or editing Games for specific Teams based on Season, Gender, Level, and Sport.

This feature is commonly used when League Schedulers or Conference Administrators are building the initial League Schedule or assigning games. Restricting Teams ensures schools cannot modify Game Schedules during this process.

Important: Only Users with the Chairperson Role can apply or remove Team Scheduling Restrictions.  Restricting Teams only prevents Schools from adding or editing Games. Schools can still create other Events, including:

  • School Events

  • Practices

  • Team Events

  • Facility Events

 

Apply Team Scheduling Restrictions

  1. Log in to your LeagueMinder Account.

  2. From the left-hand navigation menu, click Restrict Teams.

  3. On the next page, select the Season for the Teams you want to restrict.

  4. Click the Continue Button.

  5. A list will appear showing all Teams for that Season, organized by Sport, Gender, and Level.

 

Restrict Individual or Multiple Teams

  1. To restrict specific Teams, check the Checkbox next to the Team Name.

  2. To restrict all Teams listed, click the Select All Button.

  3. After selecting the appropriate Teams, click the Save All Changes Button at the top of the page.

Once saved, the selected Teams will no longer be able to add or edit Games until the restriction is removed by a Chairperson.

 

Remove Team Restrictions

  1. Return to the Restrict Teams Page.

  2. Uncheck the Teams you want to allow scheduling access for.

  3. Click the Save All Changes Button to update the restrictions.

 

***The Restrict Teams feature is commonly used during League Scheduling Periods to maintain control over Game Creation and Scheduling Changes.

***Restrictions can be removed at any time by a User with the Chairperson Role.
