LeagueMinder allows you to create recurring Practices, Team Events, Personal Events, School Events, and Facility Events using weekly, monthly, or custom recurrence patterns.
Create a Recurring Event
- Log in to LeagueMinder.
- From any area where you can add an event, open the New Event form.
- Select the appropriate Event Type.
- In the When section, enter the starting date and time for the event.
- Open the Repeat dropdown.
- Never is selected by default.
- Available recurrence options include Weekly, Monthly, and Custom.
- Select the recurrence option that best matches the schedule you want to create.
- Complete the remaining event information.
- Save the event.
Weekly Recurring Events
Use Weekly when the event follows the same pattern each week.
- Select Weekly from the Repeat dropdown.
- Enter the End Date for the recurring series.
- Select each day of the week on which the event should repeat.
For example, an event can repeat every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until the selected End Date.
Monthly Recurring Events
Use Monthly when the event repeats based on a specific week and day of the month.
- Select Monthly from the Repeat dropdown.
- Enter the End Date for the recurring series.
- Choose the applicable monthly recurrence option.
- Select the day of the week on which the event should occur.
Monthly recurrence options include:
- Every
- First
- Second
- Third
- Fourth
- Fifth
- Last
These options can be combined with a day from Monday through Sunday.
For example, you can create an event for the Second Tuesday of each month or the Last Friday of each month.
Custom Recurring Events
Use Custom when the dates do not follow a consistent weekly or monthly pattern.
- Select Custom from the Repeat dropdown.
- A calendar date selector will appear.
- Select each individual date on which the event should occur.
- Continue selecting dates until all dates in the recurring series have been added.
The Custom option is useful when events occur on irregular dates or when the schedule does not follow a conventional recurrence pattern.
Complete the Event Details
After setting the recurrence pattern, complete the remaining information that applies to the selected event type.
Depending on the event, this may include:
- Start Time
- Duration
- Team
- Facility / Location
- Transportation Information
- Notes
- Other applicable event details
When finished, save the recurring event series.
Manage a Recurring Event Series
Recurring events can be managed as either a complete series or as individual events.
- If a change applies to the entire recurring schedule, edit the series.
- If only one date needs to be changed or removed, edit the individual event instead of the entire series.
This allows you to make exceptions to a recurring schedule without changing the remaining events in the series.
Event Types That Support Recurring Events
Practice
A Practice is tied to a specific team and can be used to schedule recurring team practices.
Team Event
A Team Event is also tied to a specific team and can be used for team-related activities that are not games or practices.

Examples include:
- Holidays
- In-Service Days
- School Closures
- Other organization-wide blocked dates
