LeagueMinder provides three ways to cancel a game. You can cancel an event from the Main Calendar, from the Team Schedule using the View/Edit Event window, or directly from the Team Schedule using the Cancel quick action.

Cancel a Game from the Main Calendar

1. Log in to LeagueMinder.
2. If the Calendar is not your default view, navigate to the calendar by selecting This Week, Month, Today, or a specific date.
3. Navigate to the game you want to cancel using either List View or Grid View.
4. Click the event, or select View/Edit, to open the View/Edit Event window.
5. Click Cancel.

Note: If Auto Accept is not enabled, or if your league or section uses approval routing, you may be required to select Request Change instead. The cancellation will not be finalized until the required approval is completed.

Cancel a Game from the Team Schedule

1. Log in to LeagueMinder.
2. From the Dashboard, select the team whose schedule you want to view by choosing the appropriate Sport, Gender, and Level.
3. Navigate to the game you want to cancel.
4. Click the … menu next to the game.
5. Select View/Edit to open the View/Edit Event window.
6. Click Cancel.

Cancel a Game Using the Team Schedule Quick Action

1. Log in to LeagueMinder.
2. From the Dashboard, select the team whose schedule you want to view by choosing the appropriate Sport, Gender, and Level.
3. Navigate to the game you want to cancel.
4. Click the … menu next to the game.
5. Select the Cancel quick action.

Viewing Canceled Games

LeagueMinder’s Cancellation Footprints setting determines whether canceled games remain visible on your schedule after they are canceled.

If Cancellation Footprints are turned off, the canceled event will automatically be removed from your schedule view after the cancellation is finalized.

If Cancellation Footprints are turned on, canceled games will remain visible on the schedule. This allows you to continue viewing canceled events and manually delete them later if needed.

To review or change this setting:

1. Select Administration from the left-hand menu.
2. Locate the Cancellation Footprints setting.
3. Turn Cancellation Footprints on if you want canceled games to remain visible after cancellation.
