The Import Opponents tool allows you to add multiple opponents to LeagueMinder at once using the official Opponent Template.

Open the Opponent Import

1. Log in to LeagueMinder.
2. From the left navigation menu, click Administration.
3. Under Import, select Opponents.

You can also access opponents from Resources > Opponents.

Download the Opponent Template

1. Click the Opponent Template link.
2. Download the official LeagueMinder import template.
3. Complete the template with the opponent information you want to add.

Using the official template helps ensure your file matches the required LeagueMinder import format.

Upload the Opponent File

When your file is ready:

1. Return to the Import Opponents page.
2. Click Choose File.
3. Select your completed opponent import file.
4. Upload the file.

LeagueMinder will display a review screen before the import is completed.

Review Existing and Matching Opponents

During the review process, LeagueMinder helps identify opponents that may already exist in your organization.

The system can:

• Identify existing opponents already in your list
• Automatically detect exact matches
• Show partial matches for manual review

Review the results carefully to avoid creating duplicate opponent records.

Complete the Import

Once the review is complete:

1. Confirm the opponents you want to import.
2. Click Save.
3. LeagueMinder will add the valid opponent records to your organization.

Note: Opponents can also be added manually from Resources > Opponents by clicking + Add New. Use the import tool when adding multiple schools or organizations at once.
