Add Students to Team Rosters

Students can be added to a team roster individually from the Students menu or directly from the team’s Roster page. You can also add multiple students through a roster import or sync students from FormReleaf.

Add a Student From the Students Menu

  1. Log in to LeagueMinder.
  2. From the left navigation menu, go to Resources > Students.
  3. Search or filter for the student you want to add.
  4. Click Team History next to the student.
  5. Select Add to Roster.
  6. Choose the appropriate team.
  7. Complete the roster information.
  8. Save your changes.

This is typically the quickest method when adding an existing student to a team.

Add a Student From the Team Roster

You can also add students directly from a team’s roster page.

  1. Log in to LeagueMinder.
  2. Select the appropriate team by choosing the gender, level, and sport.
  3. Open the Roster page.
  4. Click Add to Roster.
  5. Select an existing student from the Students directory.

If the student does not already exist, you can create the student record and add them to the roster from the same process.

  1. Complete the required roster information.
  2. Save your changes.

Add Multiple Students by Roster Import

For larger roster updates, use the Import Roster option.

  1. Select the appropriate team.
  2. Open the Roster page.
  3. Click Import Roster.
  4. Download and complete the roster import template.
  5. Upload the completed CSV file.
  6. Review the import results and complete the import.

The roster import can add multiple students and update supported roster information at the same time.

Note: Importing students from the Students menu creates student records but does not automatically add those students to a team roster. Use Import Roster if you want to add students directly to a roster.

Add Students From FormReleaf

Organizations using FormReleaf can also bring registered students into the appropriate LeagueMinder team.

  1. Log in to LeagueMinder.
  2. Select the appropriate team.
  3. Click Sign in with FormReleaf.
  4. Authenticate using your FormReleaf credentials.
  5. Select the appropriate FormReleaf program.
  6. Follow the remaining prompts to sync the students into LeagueMinder.
