Student records can be added or updated in bulk using the Student Import tool in LeagueMinder.
Importing students creates or updates records in the Students directory. It does not automatically add students to a team roster.
Download the Student Import Template
- Log in to LeagueMinder.
- From the left navigation menu, go to Resources > Students.
- Click Import.
- Select the student import option.
- Download the provided import template.
Use the template provided in LeagueMinder so your file includes the correct fields and formatting required for import.
Complete the Import File
Open the downloaded template and enter the student information you want to add or update.
The student import can be used to:
- Add new student records
- Update supported information for existing students
- Make changes to multiple students at once
Follow the instructions included with the import template and save the completed file as a CSV.
Upload the Student File
When your file is ready:
- Return to Resources > Students > Import.
- Select the completed CSV file.
- Upload the file.
- Review the import results.
- Correct any records that contain errors if needed.
- Complete the import.
LeagueMinder provides a review step so you can see which student records were successfully processed and which may require attention.
Note: Importing students adds or updates records in the Students directory but does not automatically place them on a team roster. To add students directly to a team, use Import Roster or add them manually from the Students or Team Roster pages.
Add Imported Students to a Roster
After students have been imported, they can be added to a roster individually from Team History, from the team’s Roster page, or in bulk using Import Roster.
